The other one is super fancy, but I don't know...I am so attached to this one.

So, you tell me.

One bad thing about it, I CAN'T SEEM TO CHANGE THE COLORS.

My life is super CRAY at the moment.

++++++

Ps. The new blog is supposed to be for one of my classes at college, but I am trying to incorporate it into an online resume.

Let me know what you think!

Completed Review on: City of Bones

Hey guys! Sorry for taking so long. :(

I finally, FINALLY finished City of Bones!

I even watched the movie. But don't even get me started on the movie...*wince*

This book was a great read and I'm so glad I could finish it and cross it off the TBR list.

I would give the book 3 stars of out 5. It was good, but I don't know...I wanted more. However, I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

****

On another note, I am now currently reading Allegiant. So far so good!

Ps. School is starting soon. So I don't know how much I can keep up with this blog. But I will let you know if I am taking a break or not. As for right now, I am still doing blogs.

As ever,
Stephanie

MY FEAR OF THE HIGHWAY

Ok, so I am not completely scared of the highway...but it's pretty darn scary.

Does anyone else have this unnatural fear?

Anyway, I tend to do a lot of thinking and then IT HIT ME. I am not scared of using the highways, not really. I am scared of not knowing where I am going - or in the highway case, where I could end up.

I constantly have to know what is going to happen, before it happens. For example, if my family announces that we are going somewhere today and do not mention when, where, or what. I FREAK OUT. Literally. I have a heart attack.

Maybe I am a control freak...and always have to be in control of the situation, because I do not like NOT KNOWING. Can you tell by the caps how much anxiety this topic gives me?

Ahhhhh, ok so if anyone else has this problem - contact me please. Or my attorney. Which is my cat. 'Cause I have no attorney. And no money.

Seriously though...any thoughts or suggestions are most welcome. And I also promised you guys that another blog was coming soon. :-)

As ever,
Stephanie

My Word for 2014

A blogger I read recently posted a blog stating their "word" for ringing in the New Year.

Well, I decided to do the same.

This was actually really difficult for me just to choose one word. But I finally figured out one that I like: DEDICATION

Now you guys must be thinking, why did you pick this word Stephanie?

Let me explain.

I am still currently in school earning my Bachelors in English--but this past Fall Semester was really tough. Now I will spare you the poor, pitiful details, but to sum it up it was stressful. I hate the word stressful, stress, or stressed. Any form of that word said out loud immediately makes me feel it. Don't taunt me, I can hear you!!

Anyway, I feel personally, that I was the opposite of dedication. In fact, although my grades weren't terrible, I remember I did a lot of procrastination throughout the semester. And to me or any other 'normal' person might agree that when one thinks of the word procrastination, you don't usually think of the word dedication as an immediate synonym.

So dedication to my work, dedication to my family, dedication to my school, and most importantly, dedication to my Savior is what I have decided. It is incredibly important to me--this last thought--because there is nothing I strive more than anything towards. To grow in my relationship with Christ and to constantly be in the Word and to spread the Good News.

In sum, dedication is the word I have chosen for 2014.

Now, here's my question: What's your word for the New Year?

Stephanie
